Internship autumn 2025 semester

Are you eager to gain real-world experience at the intersection of politics, economics and media? Mundus International is looking for a motivated full-time intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Nordic current affairs while building practical skills in international relations, diplomacy, journalism, research, and communications.

Location: Danderyd | Start Date: Fall semester 2025

Internship responsibilities

As an intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to:

  • Researching and writing newsletters and reports

  • Conducting background research for articles

  • Managing social media and website content and marketing

  • Participating in seminars and webinars

  • Helping with event planning and logistics

  • Attending client meetings

  • Supporting business development activities and daily office tasks

 

Ideal candidate profile

We are looking for a full-time student in political science, business studies, law, or economics who can complete this internship as part of their studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in current events, international affairs, and politics.

 

Fluency in English and Swedish is essential and we also welcome candidates proficient in other Nordic languages or Polish.

Analyst (freelance) - The Finland Monthly Brief

Are you a sharp, politically attuned writer with a strong interest in Finnish- and Nordic affairs? Mundus International is looking for an analyst to join our editorial team for The Finland Monthly Brief. This is one of our flagship publications, which analyses Finnish current affairs for our clients consisting of embassies and international professionals.

 

Location: Remote | Start Date: As soon as possible

 

About the role

As an analyst, you will contribute between 6-12 analytical articles per year, focusing on key developments in Finnish politics, government policy, foreign affairs, or business. Articles typically range from 2,000–2,500 words and are written for an informed, international audience.

 

What we're looking for

  • Strong analytical and writing skills

  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of Finnish politics, policy, or international affairs

  • Journalism, political science, international relations, or economics background preferred

  • Ability to work independently, remotely and meet deadlines

  • Fluency in English and Finnish.

Editor (freelance) - Mundus News Sweden

Are you a news-savvy, internationally minded writer with a strong grasp of Swedish current affairs? Mundus International is seeking a freelance editor to join our team on Mundus News Sweden, a daily publication summarising the top political, economic, and societal developments in Sweden. Our readership includes embassies and international professionals who rely on our insights to stay informed.

 

Location: Remote | Start Date: As soon as possible

 

About the role

As an editor, you will write 1-3 shifts per week, contributing clear and concise coverage of Swedish news for a diplomatic and global audience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in journalism, international relations, or political analysis who is looking to contribute regularly in a freelance capacity.

 

What we're looking for

  • Excellent news judgment and writing skills

  • Solid understanding of Swedish politics, policy, and society

  • Ability to summarise complex issues succinctly for an international readership

  • Journalism, political science, international relations, or economics background preferred

  • Ability to work independently, remotely, and on deadline

  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
