About the event
The roundtable will focus on Swedish policy for the green transition with special emphasis on international dimensions. Our expert speakers bring deep knowledge of Sweden’s domestic and international climate agendas, which the audience can benefit from through a balanced agenda including both formal presentations followed by an interactive discussion.
The morning will begin with a welcome address by H.E. Mr Karim Medrek, Ambassador of Morocco. This will be followed with presentations by our invited experts and interactive roundtable discussions guided by Chatham House Rules.
Invited experts
Our lead presenter will be Magnus Nilsson, an independent consultant specialising in EU transport, climate and energy policy. Magnus has deep expertise on Sweden's climate policy, and amongst other things was a major contributor to John Hassler's investigation into how Sweden’s climate strategy should align with the EU's Fit for 55 climate legislation.
